Winter Release - Apple Pie Gin
The quintessential ‘Apple Isle’ gin.
One of our most complex seasonal release gin creations to date. Inspired by a lonely wild apple tree which grows on the banks of the river at the distillery. This old apple tree has probably grown from an apple core thrown by a train driver many years ago. Sadly this tree only grows a few apples a year, so we contacted our friends from Thurlston Farm. Made with 4 varieties of apple; Royal Gala, Grannie Smith, Braeburn and Jonagold to give us a balance of flavour based on their sweetness and acidity, bringing together a wonderful natural apple flavour which doesn't overpower the traditional gin flavours. Mixed with spices and a dash of ginger to create delectable flavours of freshly baked apple pie.
As always with our Forager’s Find releases there is very limited volume and once it’s sold out it, that’s it.
