2025 Cailleach Winter Release - Single Malt Whisky
Cailleach is the name of the Gaelic Goddess of wind and cold, and the Queen of Winter. As an homage to Robbie's Scottish heritage and the Tasmanian winters that help to create our whisky, we bring you our annual Cailleach Single Malt Whisky release.
This year's whisky is a marriage of five Fernando De Castilla, Pedro Ximenes Casks.
What to expect: Notes of sticky date pudding, raisins soaked in rum, and dark chocolate truffles, with hints of espresso. An initial burst of dried fruits—sultana, prune, and candied orange—unfolds into layers of dark toffee, molasses, and cinnamon. With lingering notes of cocoa, burnt sugar, and stewed plums. Bottled at a higher ABV of 52% to capture it’s perfect balance of warmth and flavour.
